AboutOutMag
OutMag is a multi-brand online concept that sells clothing items of well-known brands at prices up to 70% lower than in stores. Among the brands marketed by OutMag.ro are especially those from the BESTSELLER group, namely: VERO MODA, JACK & JONES, ONLY, SELECTED, OBJECT, VILA CLOTHES, ONLY & SONS, SAINT TROPEZ and many others.
The main advantage of this store is given by the quality-price ratio of the products for these brands. Also, the support provided to the clients by the consultants and the quality of the services represent aspects appreciated by them, the result being a low return rate.
A brief presentation of the project
OutMag is a pilot project of one of our partners, which began with the desire to create an online store using the experience gained over time.
The development platform chosen was OpenCart 1.5.6.x, which has undergone numerous changes over time in both structure and functionality.
One of the main functionalities developed was to synchronize real-time stocks between two online stores based on size variations, a feature that greatly optimized internal workload.
We have also worked hard to optimize the administration process, the document issuance and order processing. We did not omit either the decrease of response time below 500ms, which required a general optimization of the platform files and requests to the database.
The design has also undergone several changes over time, currently being at version v2.
Being a pilot project, OutMag is in continuous development and optimization.
